SUSPENDED LIGHT INSTALLATION
The Ghost Net is a suspended light installation made from reclaimed glass bottles and hand-woven netting, exploring how discarded materials can carry traces of their past lives. Referencing the movement and accumulation of ocean debris, the piece transforms waste into a luminous form that balances fragility with resilience. Light filters through the layered glass, revealing variations in color, texture, and imperfection. Exhibited as part of the IESNYC Student Lighting Competition, The Ghost Net reflects on memory, renewal, and what we choose to preserve.
